December 23, 2023 - The color is pale golden. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of melon, peach, green apple, fire stone, lactic notes, wet stone, little vanilla. The acidity is high. The wine is medium bodied. On the palate the flavors are similar to the nose. They are also pronounced with a long finish. This wine has good QPR. Glass I used: Zalto Burgundy

Tasted blind, not decanted. Clear pale golden color. Fine, chalky, slightly reductive and deep nose.
Beautiful tension and pressure! Also very elegant and harmonious. Fine lime, chalky mineral notes. Quite creamy mouthfeel. Very good length. 92-93+
January 16, 2021 - Teknisk er alt riktig her. God frukt, mineralsk, balansert... Men som mange av Leflaive sine negoce viner er denne litt forutsigbar og mangler litt særpreg og edge.
July 2, 2020 - Ripe orchard fruit, smokey reduction, ginger, and oaky vanillin. Medium-full body, soft texture, broad flavors. Negociant Leflaive's 2015 Rully 1er is pretty good.
March 17, 2019 - Honestly disappointed. Too bitter and tart for me. Maybe it wasn’t a good pairing with salty food or needed more age. Nose had elements of melon, butter, and citrus. Not my cup of tea.
October 25, 2017 - Smoky minerals greet the nose. It has plenty of ripe orchard fruits and a suggestion of ginger and aniseed. In the mouth the wine is full and silky and the minerality kicks back in towards the finish.
