Community Tasting Notes 3

December 12, 2019 - This is surprisingly delicious (I don't recall it being this good when we tasted at the winery). Strawberry nose, and a heck of a lot of strawberry on the palate, with some wild raspberry tart in there too... a bit of baking spice mid-finish and then the floral rose essences carry a fairly long finish to the end. The only thing is that such a strong flavor of wine doesn't match as well with food as some other wines - it was fine with pasta and meat sauce but not so good with the Pecorino we had on the sauce.

May 6, 2018 - Displays typical varietal high acidity, with a significant dollop of American oak in the finish.

March 26, 2018 - Much better after decanting for a bit.
