July 16, 2020 - The nose here is singular and just wonderful: fairly ripe stone fruit, autolytic hints, some almond and really attractive spicy tones. It has this amazing sunny quality to it that I have not come across in a while (probably due to drinking mostly so called cool climate wines...). On the palate it has good volume and breadth with some oiliness yet it sports good acidity and does not come off as heavy, thanks to the moderate 12.5% ABV. I would go as far as call the mouthfeel firm. It seems quite dry and on the finish has some pleasant bitterness. I find it to be a fairly substantial, exciting white wine that both drinks well and challenges you to ponder about it.

August 17, 2019 - Citrus notes, stoney (volcanic) acidity. Crisp and delicious

May 6, 2019 - Like the Benanti Etna Bianco, this wine had distinctive Carricante green apple and lemon with faint hints of honeysuckle, ash, and minerals. It was dry and acidic. Another person on CT noticed “dust-like aromas” and I think that this was an apt description. Compared to the Benanti, I found this wine to have more stone fruit and peachy characteristics. It was a very good match with shrimp. As expected, much better near room temperature. Drank very nicely on day 2. I’m a fan and looking forward to the Arcuria bottling in my cellar.

April 11, 2019 - Good wine, but not as memorable as this producer's Arcuria. The core of this wine is tart citrus (e.g., grapefruit) and lighter apple. There is a pleasant complexity from minerals and (yes) ash notes. There is a touch of honey on the finish. The wine doesn't taste too austere, though it's definitely made for food pairing.
