April 15, 2021 - Mix of plums and raisin aromas with anise and fresh dill. Sour cherry and red plums with good tannic backbone. Drink now

August 23, 2020 - Decent and obviously well made Dolcetto. Note immediately below is spot on. I would buy other Dolcetto ahead of this but equally happy to drink it.

June 20, 2020 - Soilid effort, honest, direct dolcetto. Balanced, rich, slightly bitter edged, seem like it was a short maceration with goal to get good juice and let the juice speak for itself. Happy to drink.

June 17, 2019 - Lively acidity and velvety tannin profile over boysenberry, plum and currant flavors with hints of bay and cooking herbs. Very tasty and great for food.

December 2, 2018 - Lovely, juicy dolcetto. Already in the nose the excellent balance is obvious. The juiciness comes out immediately in the palate together with red fruit. It evolves from soft, velvety to nice fruity acidity and some green herbs and finishes with a gentle bite. One of the best dolcettos, if not the best, I have had.

August 28, 2018 - Tasting with Silvia Altare, daughter of legendary modern Barolo pioneer Elio Altare.

Entry level wine, super short meceration (30-40 hours), no oak, only stainless steel, drink ice bucket cold.

Meaty and concentrated wine with juicy fruit and spices. Round and rich, full bodied, grippy tannins, low acidity.

48 hours of maceration only. Fresh, fun, Maybe a touch reductive. Easy juicy fruity.
