April 12, 2024 - A big wine, full of fruit with a long finish. Blueberry, tobacco, plum, dark fruit. Silky and juicy. Very good if you're in the mood for something big with a bit of sweetness. Mature and perhaps starting to decline. Drink now and over the next few years.

March 30, 2024 - My last note said I should wait a year or two, so now it’s 11 years later…

Very soft and integrated. The hot alcohol from my last note is not present at all. I get some tobacco, subtle fruit, fine tannins. This is probably past its prime and may have been better a few years ago.

Having this with bone in rib eyes cooked over mesquite charcoal, potatoes and mushrooms. Should be a nice meal. My lovely wife will cover hers in BBQ sauce and not taste the wine at all…

November 7, 2023 - First of 3 bought on release, professional storage. Sound cork // Very attractive nose, tobacco and crushed raspberry fruit. Still opaque. on palate very Ribiero, excellent depth, touch of smoke and licorice. Not my style of wine but it's quite good. Good wine for roast boar in the depths of winter when the winds howl and snowfall deep...

    September 12, 2023 - Delightful wine.
In memory of our 200# best-dog-ever "Pingus", who crossed the river Sticks two days ago.

November 13, 2022 - Incredibly fresh and clean out of the bottle. Soft tannins, purple berries on the nose. Menthol and cloves..
