May 21, 2023 - Drinking very nicely. Perfect with a nice ribeye!
May 5, 2023 - Always a winner and a 5 Star QPR wine.
January 15, 2023 - Either some bottle variation or time hasn't been kind to this Washington Cab/Merlot blend. Dried cherry and strawberry, clay pot and chocolate. Medium-full bodied, sating texture but overall feels a bit thin. Tart red fruit and fine-grained tannins balance nicely.
December 9, 2022 - Brought this to an Argentine/Italian restaurant in NYC. Very enjoyable WA state Bordeaux style blend. Half of the group had it as their favorite. Very solid QPR.

Not a lot of changes. Some slight nuances. Smoother than the last bottle. Loads of fruit roll up. Charcoal, some woody notes, more dark fruit.
Longish finish. Unctuous. A really nice wine. Drink cellar cool. Amaze with a bloody steak. Great wine at a great price.
Steak and baked potato....thanks Britt
July 31, 2021 - Opened, decanted and consumed over eight hours. Last glass the best. Drink at true cellar temperature.
Dark burgundy. Full bodied.
Loads of dark fruit. Some vanilla and light oak.
Unctuous. Viscous. A little grippy. More dark berries. Medium plus finish. A lovely wine for sure. Great value. Case worthy!
Smoked a LFD Chapter One
July 29, 2021 - As others noted, smooth and silky with great structure, exceeds expectations especially for a hot vintage. Truly channels that St. Emilion thing.
June 24, 2021 - Opened but not decanted at a NYC Steakhouse. Given my past bottles, this was somewhat disappointing. There is nothing wrong with it, but it was the least favorite of the night with my table mates.
March 14, 2021 - good, solid and smooth blend with structure. The fruit is more integrated than previous bottles and it seems to be in a good place now, but I am in no hurry to drink the remaining bottles that I have in my cellar.
March 13, 2021 - Smooth and silky with great structure.
