December 6, 2021 - Blackberry. Leather Light tobacco. Raspberry Tart. Not too tannic in late 2022. I am drinking it without much aeration, 15 minutes out of the bottle. Drinking a Barbera Di Alba next to it. This wine doesn’t best it. Having a Minestrone soup with it. Dean and Deluca recipe. This is a Merlot dominated wine which is just fine with a very savory soup and French bread The wine is acidic. It’s hardly tannic. I like it, but at $15 USD. It will give chocolate notes as it opens up.

September 24, 2021 - This is the first time I have tasted potpourri in a red wine. Not very much fruit, more earth and spice. Color was garnet. Medium bodied.

September 23, 2021 - Agree with most other comments. This wine is a touch lighter than expected and don’t suspect it will “develop” into anything more. Drink sooner rather than later.

September 2, 2021 - Not a vintage that I’d but again. Have to see if I have another bottle to sample.
