March 29, 2021 - Monday night drinks at the park. Pop and pour for me. Last drink of the night before rushing home.
Apperance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of honeysuckle, citrus lemon, lime, green melon. Developed.
On the palate, dry, generally high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of honeysuckle, citrus lemon, green lime, green honeydew melon, slight honeyed nut, saline sea salt and stones minerality. Long finish.
Very good quality. Drinking in a nice place. Probably meant for fresh consumption. Might get oxidative with age.
60% Clairette, 18% Ugni Blanc, 19% Bourboulenc and 3% Marsanne.
January 5, 2021 - Tasted blind. Fragrant nose of oranges, minerals, and a hint of white pepper. Nice acidity on the palate with citrus flavors, crushed rocks, and a bit of melon. Nice finish. Lovely, fresh wine, drinking very well right now.
September 25, 2020 - Clear pale lemon
Lemon, lemon zest? Lemon pith?
Mineral, crushed shells/chalk
Short refreshing finish
Med alcohol, maybe 13? A tad high.
Tastes like ripe tropical fruit
Tannins on the gums from old oak?
If I wasn't already hungry, I would be after this wine. Very enjoyable.
September 10, 2020 - Agree with RWG's note. Spot on now. With the clairette component I don't see it keeping its essential spine for much longer.

May 4, 2020 - Every time i see this wine, i buy a few bottles.
While i am never entirely satisfied, i keep thinking the next bottle will have more spine, more cut and more nerve. Its never less than a nice white bandol, so maybe i will leave it at that. And that nose is really something.

March 22, 2020 - Really nice white Bandol from Tempier. melon, lemon, nicely crisp and good acidity levels. This is spot on right now.
November 29, 2019 - Much more body and tamed acidity than before. Really building.
July 10, 2019 - Drinking beautifully especially after a good 30 minutes out of the fridge.
June 29, 2019 - This has gone up a gear or two. Now very enjoyable, singing acidity and fruit. Very good.
