July 16, 2022 - Very dark inky and rusty red in colour. Decanted for five hours before dinner with a grilled flank steak. Extremely long legs gives away the alcohol content (a little hot on the nose) which later gives way to aromas of bright red fruit, some blackberry, hint of caramel maybe cassis(?). Lots of pepper. Tannins still a little grippy but showing lots of promise.
January 10, 2022 - Modern in style, with notes of ripe black fruits, crushed stones, and spice box. Medium to full bodied, rich, concentrated and flavorful, with round tannins and a long and hedonistic finish.
August 21, 2021 - Decanted for two hours at Rolands beach house, best of the group which included, CB To Kalon and Lewis reserve,
October 16, 2020 - Opened and drank immediately, needed time
October 12, 2020 - Decanted about 90 minutes, came out strong. Positioned against a 2012 Lail Cuvée and a 2015 Vagone. Easily held up, smooth and velvety. One of the best I’ve had from DS
May 24, 2020 - Let this open up. Decanted at 3. Poured at 7:30 and was pleasantly pleased. Smooth, velvet, and dark fruits. Way better than last year’s bottle.

December 24, 2019 - Decanted for 3 hours smooth, some tannins but very drinkable, could use a few more years in the bottle but very drinkable
