April 23, 2020 - This wine is drinking beautifully now. It's gone from solid-but-not-special to really nice. Texture is very soft and rounded with almost-sweet earthy and fine tannin notes. Beautiful baking spices. Very medium otherwise but it matches well with my little-bit-hot cassoulet. Experiential wine and food. No complaints; happy with the results.

January 21, 2019 - I received this wine as a gift in 2017 and drank it last night. To be honest I wasn't expecting much and had not looked at any tasting notes. I do agree with other's assessments, fruit forward and somewhat bright, not as earthy as old world Tempranillo, good nose, moderate finish, not overly complex, but very good and enjoyable. I believe it will do nothing but get better with time becoming more balanced and complex.

March 29, 2018 - A very nice Tempranillo that needs to open up quite a bit. Decanted for 60 minutes and was good, but finished the bottle the next day and BAM. Nice and fruit forward, with moderate acidity and mild tannins. Not as earthy as Tempranillo found in Spain. Definitely get some prune and dry blackberries, kinda smokey, and very pleasant. 92

March 1, 2018 - We tried this last weekend but just getting to the review now. This was a very fruit forward Tempranillo, seemed more like a new world Tempranillo. It was light but that might be because of age. It was a great wine and we enjoyed it but seems like it definitely could use some more time to age. Letting our other bottles of this wine age for another two to five years before trying.

September 15, 2017 - Nice, fruit-driven wine. Nicely balanced levels of acidity, fruit, and tannins. Pleasant baking spices on the nose lead to a sweet plum palate with a medium finish.
