August 7, 2022 - Beautiful and delicious wine that was singing from the get-go but improved with air. Nosed out a same vintage Carter Carter as it was seducing us from start to finish.Really nice structure that supports the big fruit ad body all the way through the finish. Layers of yummy fruit and flavors that go on and on. just an awesome big Napa cab.

April 21, 2020 - Very nice Cab. Black cherry almost pie filling, tobacco, slight menthol, caramel, on the nose. The pallet confirms a well balanced wine with soft tannin and medium acid. Gorgeous

September 25, 2018 - Just a beautiful cab.....needs 1-2 hours of air to perform at its best. Striking nose, feminine approach to the wine but develops more depth and flavor with time in the glass. Gains a point every hour it's open, IMO......

September 2, 2018 - I have to agree with WA here, I don't know why my CT brethren don't? It almost seems like some of us go out of our way to disagree with the experts even when it's staring us clearly in the face......this is just too good! Deep dark raspberry/briar nose, dark purple in the glass.....good mid-weight in the mouth. Tannins are full of great cedar, moderate but soft astringency. The oak barrels used in this creation were perfect! Beautiful acidity for many, many more years and a great fruit filled ending of 30+ seconds. This may be my favorite B Cellars wine! Paired perfectly with a pan blackened prime sirloin......you can't go wrong!
