September 15, 2020 - Dyp mørk rød, lys rødlilla kant.
Dyp duft av kjølige mørke bær. Noe harpiks/bivoks.
Trenger litt luft.
Veldig fin fyldig frukt. Alkoholen maskeres godt. Mørk frukt, plomme, krekling med bivoks/harpikspreg (naturvin?) Og urter. Minimalt med tanniner. Syren gir god ryggrad mot frukten.
Kjølig preg, høy kvalitet. Veldig god zin! -

March 26, 2020 - Good job Chris! Love this expression of zinfandel with all the herbal and floral nuance and the crunchy red fruits. It seems like 3-4 years really helps it come together.

December 2, 2017 - Made a mushroom and leek galette for dinner and Ned picked this to go with. Translucent violet in the glass. Smells like grape hard candy, cooked cherries, and an almost chalky note. Juicy, fresh and gulpable. Balanced alcohol and refreshing acidity with little to no perceptible tannin. Perhaps not the ultimate pairing with earthy mushrooms but certainly a very food friendly wine. The bottle went too fast!
