May 20, 2019 - Purplish ruby in color. Aromas of dark fruits, graphite, and wet slate, along with some licorice, damp tobacco, and iron as well. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of dark fruits, lemon, and minerals.

You don't see varietal wines from graciano too much (or at least I haven't), so I had to grab one of these for the Century Club (#96 for me). Nothing earth shattering here, but it's a fine daily drinker type wine that would be pretty food versatile—we had it with bean and cheese burritos, but it would be a fine red to pair with poultry, pork, sausage, or veggie dishes, in spite of its darker fruited profile.

January 2, 2019 - Nose: Earth and wet gravel, dark fruit, herbs

Palate: PnP: Cotton candy! Later the dark fruit shows, with medium+ tannins, medium- acidity. Not very complex or deep, but definitely enough to enjoy.
