January 1, 2024 - The ratings are right. Wonderful smooth ready. Give it some air. I am finding Paso 16’s to be very approachable right now. Time not running out nor any decline but most are impressing

September 3, 2023 - Ripe and robust. Deep vibrant purple and intense spice and dark fruited aromas. Many years ahead.

August 12, 2023 - 3 hour decant (it needed it); Massive wine full of rich, black fruit, tannin, tobacco, iodine, bacon fat, roasted beef, and oak. Acidity cuts through the fruit nicely, and the finish is long and palate-coating. Amazing wine! High abv but you don't really notice it in the aroma or taste. Might have noticed it the next morning however. Still just a baby at 7 years old, so drink or hold at this point. Will drink nicely well into the 2030s.

March 3, 2023 - Sorry Drank a few weeks ago and lost my brief notes, only remember my score. Kids and work are killing my ability to keep notes top of mind and freshly updated.

February 1, 2023 - OMG- everything with nose and palate is in unison.
