November 3, 2018 - Bottle says "Meritage", but this is very unlike any Bordeaux I've ever tasted, more like port.
Intense nose, stewed fruit, chalk, mocha, chemical notes.
Lots of residual sugar. Full body, intense, high tannins, high acid, high alcohol. Like port, but different.
Medium long, tart finish.
