December 19, 2017 - Holding up real well, I was surprised. You definitely get wet tobacco and dried plum. It doesn't taste "tired" or flat. This is a well aged Bordeaux that can pass in a blind taste as high-end. Great stuff. I really enjoyed this one.

June 14, 2016 - A medium bodied wine now, but really enjoyable. Nice finish. Holding up very well at this age.

March 2, 2014 - Garnet, slightest bricking at edge. Nose of black fruits, hint of cherries, tobacco, hint of leather. Taste was leather, licorice, mellow hint of tannins. I was not expecting that much, but what I got was quite a pleasant surprise! Ready to drink now.

December 19, 2013 - Tasted at Monopole, Pasadena with Kat. Deep dark ruby core to rust rim. Quite youthful-looking for its age. A fair bit of primary fruit still there - plum, plum skin, blackberry, dark cherry. And spiced pecans, sweet spiced wood, touch of fresh tobacco and florals. Relatively light palate, good attack with medium acid, bright fruit, low tannin. Perhaps slightly past peak but very delicious and very refreshing, as wine should be. $65.
