March 8, 2021 - Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Counoise and Cinsault. Med (-) garnet, unfiltered. Med (+) aromas of candied red raspberry, tamarind, dried herbs de Provence, earth, anise, licorice, vanilla. Part whole cluster fermentation and approx. 12 mos on used oak. Dry, but fruit-forward, w/ med acidity, med to med (+), silky tannins and med (+) alcohol (13.7%). Very well-balanced, with med (+) body, flavor intensity and length, and a slight licorice bitterness on the finish. A very classically-styled GSM, it is drinking well now but should show well for several more years.

June 28, 2019 - M&M brought. Smokey but a bit thin. Nice value.

June 7, 2019 - PNP, drank over two nights. Cherry fruit aromatics, savory red fruit flavors. Finishes with a lift. Great QPR here.

May 6, 2019 - Red cherry spiced candy. Bold, it puts its foot down. Young, but it knows a thing.
