  December 13, 2018 - Wines Tasted at HDH Auction; 12/13/2018-12/15/2018 (Spiaggia - Chicago IL): Tasted double blind, this is a big and bold 2005 with lots of power and concentration, so very 2005 in that regard, but already accessible and harmonious. So enjoyable. I was shocked to see this is from Freddy, given the elegance of his wines across-the-board, but this is a perfectly executed 2005.

  December 13, 2018 - HDH December auction; 12/13/2018-12/15/2018 (Chicago, IL): Served double blind (but pretty much known it was Burgundy). There was a choice of Mongeard-Mugneret, Mugnier, Meo-Camuzet, and Ponsot, and I settled on a relatively younger iteration of Mongeard-Mugneret Murgers given the earthiness here. But so pretty, with that beautiful red fruit. The perfume, too, was stunning. I didn't settle on 2005 given how open this was, but I could tell it was a relatively younger wine, but the tannic structure is there.

  February 9, 2018 - Jasper Mugnier. Best Fuees I've had. Tannins are perfect spheres, depth, has it all. Gorgeous.

  Svakt parfyme, tre, krydder og svak mint.
  Du kjenner godt dybden, selv om den holder tilbake.
  Pen fylde, stram, konsentrert og med god friskhet.
  Trenger mer tid.
  Har godt av å smoothes ut litt.
  Sitter lenge med litt røffe tanniner.

  January 13, 2018 - The greatest Fuees I've every had. Great fruit, sweet and yet, great minerality and complexity with years and years of life ahead of it. The last of 6 bottles all of which were splendid and wine of the night among great company including an 01 La Tache, 96 Vogue Bonnes Mares. I'm am fully afraid of the price I'll pay for the next one but Bravo, bravo, bravo. Brilliant wine.
