  December 30, 2019 - D+0h: no deposit in the filter, but a tiny bit in the bottle, smells of cherry D+4,5h: dark as ink, smells of blackberry, cherry and a little bit of smoke, medium body, quite dry, a little bit harsh indeed, in the mouth blackberry, acidity and cherry, in the aftertaste sour cherry and acidity, good length (30 sec), good red wine with character.

  April 8, 2019 - Just what a Dolcetto should be: an easy-drinking wine with lots of fresh fruit such as ripe cherry, plum and boysenberry along with little hints of violet and marzipan. This wine surprises with medium acid and medium(+) tannins (as Dolcetto can be low in the former and high in the latter) making it easy to pair with food. The palate matches the nose and the finish lingers a bit. This is a nicely balanced wine that would please a crowd and is great for every day enjoyment.
