January 23, 2017 - Found a half bottle of this at a hotel pantry shop. Figured I'd be tossing $25 down the drain. I was wrong. Somehow this was still alive, although nearing it's end. Definitely bricking around the edges. Lots of dried blackberry. Showed mature fruit and integrated tannins. Started to dry out at the end. If you still have one, drink it now and drink it quick. Slow pour, no Decant watch the sediment & enjoy. A nice surprise!

August 1, 2008 - Decanted 1 hour. Medium body. Not thick but good depth with dark fruits, well resolved acids and tannins. Solid.

November 7, 2007 - Lovely Cabernet. Great nose, deep ruby color, silky tannins. Enjoyed at the Roycroft Inn in East Aurora, NY, with friends and colleagues.

October 25, 2007 - Wow, what a gorgeous drinking wine. Consumed at The Strip House in NYC with Moose together with a New York strip steak and a bone in rib-eye steak. The sommelier highly recommended this wine and he was spot on. Drinking fantastic right now. Upfront fruit, subtle oak, creamy texture and a smooth finish. This wine drinks really easy and was fine on its own prior to the meat being served. I liked it so much I took Moose's glass away from him and finished his myself.

December 8, 2006 - Chronicle: Rich, mocha, rich dark opaque bod, full, rich ripe berries with a healthy, but blanced dose of oak; soft supple t’s. Very good Cal Cab for pricE!
