  July 24, 2019 - Less apple at first and more lemon and then the perfume of apple skins on nose. Bubbly and frothy. Minerals and metal. Palate is really young and grippy. Tart and lemon. Chalk and minerals. Lots of potential. 5-5.5. 5+ 5+ 1.5. Nose - 5-5.5/6, Palate - 5+/6, Finish - 5+/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 16.5-17/20. (With 17.5-18/20 potential.)

  July 24, 2019 - Fantastic energy and length here. Very tensile and elegant. Hits the back of throat. Such a different quality in texture and amplitude in the Goulte. These should for a decade plus.

  May 31, 2019 - Keller Open Afterparty (Weingut Keller, Flörsheim-Dalsheim, Germany): Great start into the evening. We had a lot of Marie-Noelle Ledru that evening (Cuvee du Goulte 2009, 2010 and this 2012 which particularly stands out for me besides two Mags, the Millesime 2005 and the "normal" Extra-Brut). The 2012 is definitely still a very young gun but has a lot of energy and precision. The acidity is lovely pronounced but also very balanced. Will age gracefully.
