January 10, 2014 - Balanced, elegant wine, almost French ib character. Dark garnet, with a subtle nose. Substantive on the palate, with plenty of dark fruit, a nice tannic backbone, plenty of complexity.

January 2, 2014 - If you have them drink them, very good now but past peak.

Good fruit and balance, still has strong tannin, nice finish

decanted 2 hours and initial taste which was closed.

October 26, 2013 - Definitely not over the hill as others have noted. I decanted for 30-45 minutes. Very strong aroma and taste of cherries. Pleasant to drink, but one dimensional.

June 17, 2012 - Popped and poured. Some nice fruit on the nose with hints of tobacco and leather. On the palate, very nice fruit and a bit of tannin, but lacked a little depth and complexity. I was ready to love this wine, but I just liked it. Very Good.

November 19, 2011 - this brings back the Burgess of old ... well rounded yet complex and elegant ... this is good
