April 29, 2021 - Mid cherry red. Settles down with air to reveal solid red and black cherry and tingly slightly sherbet texture. There’s something a bit grubby about it that is the wrong side of ‘forest floor’ for me. But has freshness of acidity that is attractive. Perhaps not a Chianti rival but shows promise for this variety in Australia.
