June 9, 2017 - Medium ruby with clearing. Medium(+) aromas of sweet cherry/ hard candy with touch of black cherry. Herbal and anise secondaries - very nice. Medium palate of red cherry with medium tannins and nice lingering acidity. Smells like a generous Beaujolais but palate is a different story altogether. I really like this.

September 4, 2016 - Would this develop into something more interesting? Who knows. V. enjoyable as it is -- fresh, rough and tumble red.

October 5, 2015 - Lovely aromatics: strawberry and hint of vanilla spices. On the palate it is delicate with rhubarb, nutmeg, and cherry balsamic. Medium+ acid and long finish. Damn, don't tell too many people about this. Seriously, dude.

October 2, 2015 - Very nice - bright, bright fruit and acidity lending nice structure. Hint of bitterness on the backend, which I've gotten before in my limited Persan experience. This reminds me of Beaujolais but with more interest and slightly more structure....and I actually like it.

September 5, 2015 - Medium Ruby. There is a mineral and austere quality that we like about this. Nicely balanced. On day three, gassed and refrigerated in between, some pepper notes that we had noticed initially became more prominent. Very enjoyable stuff.

July 4, 2015 - Light ruby with clearing at rim/ medium viscosity. Medium(+) intensity aromas of cherry/ hard candy with secondary aromas of licorice and baking spices. Rather thin on the palate, with mild tannins and medium(+) acidity. Dead ringer for a good Beaujolais on the nose, but lacking the fruit on the palate and higher acidity.
