  July 17, 2022 - Sunday hangout (and goodbyes) (Chicago, IL): An excellent CCR that I would say drinks as well as most Barolo out there. A little more weighty than I personally like for my sangiovese (we attributed it to the vintage), but this is definitely one in my wheelhouse for sure. Clean with lovely bright fruit, and nary a hint of oak. I'd love to try one of these in a lighter vintage.

  November 26, 2017 - Lovely wine! Rather dark in both colour and flavour profile for a Chianti, so I’d put it in the ‘modern’ camp focusing on black fruits with soft tannins and mild/ripe acidity rather than the ‘classic’ sour cherry/acidic Chianti-profile. Decent value at €27 all taxes included.
