March 28, 2022 - Cranberry and dark plum fruit with violets and then a hints of licorice, lavender, incense, curry, and cayenne spice. Finishes with a distinctive blood orange acidity, but I find the finish a little lacking compared to the best Beaujolais wines. Tannins feel nicely integrated, but are still show some bitterness and it really benefited from a few hours of air, so I wonder if a few more years would have helped. Also, this gets thick and sappy with more air time, which I found a bit strange for a Beaujolais. Not super profound, but quite enjoyable as I typically expect from Beaujolais (though I also think I can do better for the same price).

September 24, 2021 - First of 6 bottles. Coravined and it was a pleasant surprise. Straight forward open nose with almost sweet fruit. Transparent in the glass and the 12.5 % makes this a very smooth go to wine. The years in the cellar rounded out the tannins, if any, and it seems to peak now. Great QPR and I`ll certainly keep a closer look at this producer and hes wines. Summerdays and a slow cooked chicken with this..... dream on. Save or drink now.

April 22, 2021 - What a difference a year makes. Pale ruby color. Nose of crunchy red fruit and peppery spice with some floral and earthy notes woven in. Flavors of sweet and tart cherry and cranberry on the palate with some pepper and fresh earth. Medium+ acid and tannin. Juicy mouthfeel but finishes dry. Really nice wine and bottle disappeared quickly.

March 28, 2020 - Popped and poured. Pale ruby color. Nose of red cherry, some wet earth and rocks, a bit of tart cranberry. Similar flavors on the palate with a mix of tart red berry fruits and earthy minerality. Medium+ acid, medium tannin. Perhaps missing something on the finish but otherwise very solid and a versatile food wine.

March 31, 2019 - Even ruby. Deep black cherry, incense, and herb scents. Gentle soil base and a nice extra layer of sap and roundness compared to most Gamay. Beautiful clarity of the fruit with fine bolstering acidity that lacks the cranberry tartness of so many Beaujolais. This showed just as well at home as it had last fall in a bouchon in Lyon.

Just as good the second night-impressive stuff
