December 26, 2007 - Decanted for 1 hour. This wine exhibited a dark garnet/purple color. On the nose, baked cherry pie notes were followed by raspberries and plums with hints of roasted meats and spice. On the palate, macerated cherries and raspberries were prominent with notes of plums leading to hints of vanilla and licorice on the finish. Nothing outstanding, but a good Toro nonetheless. HS89
