November 27, 2020 - Pale gold. The nose is sugary- apple juice meets apricot jam. On the palate it’s quite sweet with great minerality, nice acidity and notes of apple cider and green apple pie. A great midpalate with medium level acidity and some mouth filling glycerine. It’s delicious, sweet but not unctuous and has a nice cut with a great, rounded mouthfeel. It would work well post prandial or as an aperitif but I feel it would need some Foie Gras to mellow out the acidity and sweetness. I’m really enjoying it. 92 points and 5 stars- $15 for 500ml bottle. Drink till 2030.

September 15, 2020 - Peach and honey plus petrol on the nose. Palate of honeydew melon, peach, apricot, light petrol note, some honey. Quite sweet without enough acidity to balance. A slightly better showing on day 2 means there may be an upside to age, but I am skeptical it has the acid to integrate.

June 13, 2020 - In the glass looks like 87 octane. On the nose seaside saline and honey. Unctuous and mouth-coating. Approaching a thin diluted Sauternes.

February 7, 2018 - Riesling Riot 2018: Honey, orange, apricot and light toffee notes. Palate holds the higher sweetness level well. Good length, a nicely done wine.

February 7, 2018 - Riesling Riot downunder (Town Hall, Sydney): Lime marmalade, apricot, sweet spice. Off dry but lacks sufficient acidity which lends a slightly cloying quality. Actually it's a little disjoined. Hmm. Perhaps time will help but I have my doubts.
