May 22, 2022 - Just gorgeous, honey, citrus and lovely bubbles. Need more!!
January 1, 2022 - Exceeded expectations. Clearly pinot noir with a reddish hue and strong berry flavor for bubbles. Crisp and refreshing with some brioche on the back end. Better than the Billecart blanc de blanc we had beside it. Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of complexity on the palette.
September 12, 2021 - Vinetasters: Northern California family-owned chardonnays and pinots (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. Somewhat orange/pinkish in colour. Sweet and grapey with too much dosage or residual sugar, leading to a confectionary sweetness on this, followed by jarring notes of mushroom (which would indicate a pinot heavy blend). Very tart and unbalanced.
July 18, 2020 - Minimal orange hue. Fairly fruit forward for a bubbly--nice strawberry and apple flavors along with relatively modest yeast/brioche notes.
May 3, 2019 - Wonderful sparkling wine. Only available at Rochioli's tasting room. Purchased 1 to start off dinner with my son and his wife the next night at Baci in Healdsburg. Was surprised to learn that Baci had this specific wine and vintage on their wine list. Mentioned to the restaurant owner that I did not know that this wine was distributed anywhere beyond the winery. According to the Baic owner, they are the only restaurant that has this sparkling wine. Apparently they are close friends with Tom Rochioli. Baci was very kind and agreed to open this wine for us and only charge the standard corkage fee.
A fantastic sparkling wine and a wonderful Healdsburg restaurant.
April 7, 2019 - Intense fruit showing off the River Block Pinot Noir. Tiny bubbles and great balance.These people know how to make bubbly as well as still wines.
December 27, 2018 - Very nicely done. I wish there was more of this available! Good with food and by itself. One of, if not my favorite Domestic bubbly.

Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour with a slight tinge of pink. Fine persistent bubbles. Thin legs.
Nose is clean, medium- intensity, with aromas of apples and strawberry. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.2%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of strawberry, red apples, nuts, autolytic yeast. Medium+ finish.
Good quality. Nice New World sparkler. A great crisp way to start. Light, fruity, easy to appreciate.
