April 8, 2018 - 23 years old and still singing! bright, floral, and still structured like a younger wine. True example of how beautifully Cathy Corison's wines age.

December 10, 2017 - From an Enomatic sample. Classic dark fruit dominated by blackcurrant coupled with cigarbox and smokey aromas. Relatively rich fruit and with soft resolved tannin and good acidity. Very good finish and overall impression. More fruit than a corresponding Bordeaux on average.

January 8, 2017 - Still alive, showing attractive red fruit and earthy tannins. Drunk now.

May 26, 2016 - Randy and Steve visit Cleveland (Napa vs. Bordeaux) (Colonial): I seemed to have liked this better than the group. My best blind call of the night (05 Napa Cab) and in retrospect, Corrison would have been a great guess. Its always easier in hindsight. This is classic for her wines though. Ruby in color. Great black cherry fruit, some cassis, a bit of forest floor, some dry, dusty earth and slight tobacco on the palate. Complex layering of juicy black cherries with crushed leaves on the palate. Good acidity (a bit too much for some). Nice finish. At under 13% Alc., clearly old school but made to last.
