  April 25, 2021 - Anton’s Wine Tasting Notes
  Winery: Orin Swift Varietal: Pinot Noir
  Area/Appellation: Santa Rita Hills, Sonoma Coast
  Vintage: 2016
  Price: $40/Closeout Kansas market
  Color: Dark ruby from below, ruby with pink rim from above
  Legs: slow to medium
  Nose: cherries, cola nuts,
  Palate: black cherries, some raspberries, vanilla oak, very little clove or underbrush
  Finish: clingy yet there is some decent balance after 2.5 hours being open. In fact it is pretty darn good.
  Comments: A fruit forward Pinot full of flavor and balance.
  However my love for the Burgundy style still enchants me.
  Pairing Suggestions: Like John Hiatt says, “I’ll have the usual.”

  November 22, 2020 - An excellent wine that isn't your typical Pinot Noir. More acid and tannins than what you expect from a Pinot, which should hold well against a variety of foods.
  
  As with most Pinot Noirs you do get an initial fruit forward taste, but it quickly moves to earth undertones with wet leaf, tobacco, and grape seed flavors. Good complexity, strong structure. A treat.

  March 11, 2020 - Dark plum purple. 15.8% abv, a beast of a Pinot. As you’d expect from Finney, and this alc level, this is fruit forward, rich, slightly off dry, cherry cola, burnt ends, clove.
