April 9, 2024 - Pop and pour, drank half the bottle over 2 hours. My 11th of 12 bottles. This remains a big wine and it is regrettably losing some of its freshness now. The vibrant fruit is now dark, brooding, slightly pruney fruit. The style is big and modern, so no huge surprise that the lifespan is short. I will finish my last bottle soon and maybe purchase a newer vintage if the price is right.

February 2, 2024 - This wine was in a line up of another dozen large formats including a 2015 Quilceda Creek, 2010 Janasse CDP, a couple of Reserve Prides and it was voted wine of the evening by all in attendance. Tasted the next day and was drinking even better after being opened for 36 hours.

January 1, 2024 - This wine has improved since tasted last time. Everything has come together in harmony. Big but not clumsy. The 16 % abv is well integrated. Drinking well now but this wine should continue to develop positively over the coming years...

September 2, 2023 - This was as good or better than previous bottles. We both agreed the 16% alcohol is not detectable, as it is balanced by the red to black fruit. There's also spice, earth and some underbrush.
