May 25, 2023 - Part of a budget priced Spanish wines night with my wine group. All the wines were opened, but not decanted for at least 45 minutes before pouring. This was the first red of the night, and while we all liked it, no one was wowed. But what can we expect for the price.

Medium aromas of tart red cherry and hints of dark florals with dry earth/ ash notes
Medium bodied with palate of black cherry and plum with dried herbs and earth secondaries
Medium plus acidity and medium alcohol - medium plus tannins felt primarily on the tongue - average finish
Soundly made but nothing remarkable IMO
