June 17, 2022 - Just a brief update. The last bottle was the best out of the 3. Big, broody but lively at the same time. Certainly lots of mocha, dark fruits but never jammy and while a big wine, it had great acidity to carry it through. A wonderful wine.

September 21, 2021 - A refined Eden Valley Shiraz that was very agreeable. Decanted an hour before consumption, it was quite closed and did not have much to say for the first 30 minutes. After this, it opened up and stayed on song for the next 2 hours.

Floral and spice (white pepper) on the nose, the body was well structured from beginning to end. Great mouth texture, savoury with earthy undertones accompanied by very nice plum fruits. Tannin was refined and never got in the way.

    Drink now or 5+ years.
