Community Tasting Notes 9

March 15, 2024 - Honestly, my note is the same as it was 3 years ago. Delicious, deeply fruited, almost stately Grenache. Excellent length and overall balance. Wild herbs and stone scents on the berry/cherry compote center with hints of spice. There is a type of sweetness to the fruit that makes it almost singular. I think another 2-3 years will really see it come into harmony and reach the heights of the best vintages. There is the sense now that it is almost there, just not quite.

December 29, 2021 - Drinking very well. Has that strawberry with herbs sandy grenache thing going on.

November 14, 2021 - I think this is just entering its drinking window. Some barnyard on open that diminishes a little with air. Nice red fruit with garrigue notes, great length and complexity. Really dug this and glad to have another bottle to try in a few more years.

February 4, 2021 - Delicious, deeply fruited, almost stately Grenache. Excellent length and overall balance. Wild herbs and stone scents on the berry/cherry compote center with hints of spice. This is at the beginning of its journey. This might be my favorite wine in the Southern Rhône bar Rayas but I can actually afford and buy it.

December 29, 2019 - This has won a wee bit of richness and have a full fruit going on. Still somewhat petillant and very vin nature, but it's gaining balance and structure.
