• SeattlePaul Does not like this wine:

April 15, 2018 - Not nearly as dead as CT dates would have you believe. Actually really good acid, fruit, tannin. But there's some weird butter/butterscotch/vanilla butter note on the front nose that I can't deal with.

November 14, 2011 - Not my favorite. Strong after-taste. Kind of a vegetable type of flavor.

February 3, 2010 - Opened as our "second bottle" of the night, so drinking without food. Very nice, pop and pour, full bodied, no weird tastes. A good value, I would buy more.

November 2, 2009 - After just opening, the nose shows red fruit, blackberry, cedar, tobacco leaf, plus a little something funky, but nice. Jammy on the mid palate with an earthy, spicy finish that sticks with you. Medium body, tannin and acid, very reminiscent to me of old world merlot. Nice structure and integration. Will be interesting to see where it goes.

August 17, 2009 - Nice nose, going really well right now. Red fruit, black fruit, and savory bobal notes. Structured and intense on the back end. Gettin' allot from the bottle right now.

June 27, 2009 - 90-Pointers, Red and White (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had cherry and black currant, vanilla, wet dirt. The palate was soft, and had earth, vanilla, black currant, and a cherry finish.

April 19, 2009 - Full bodied. Pleasant ripe black fruits. Quite fruit forward and no great complexity. Nice to drink now, but no real hurry.
