October 8, 2018 - Very quaffable red blend that goes well with almost anything. Soft red fruit, spice, touch of earthiness. Drink now - 2020.

July 5, 2018 - Nose is floral with sweet rose and lilac. Cherry hints as well.

I get the fruit forward, big alcohol in the wine. Feels over extracted with a smoked oak that breathes through the flavors.

I get the zin with the brambly and blackberry flavors.

A touch of sweetness and juicy jam reminds me that I am drinking new world wine.

Quite drinkable at the price and it stands on its own quite well sans food.

Not much depth and I sense the oak and jam are a bit too present. They hang over the palate like a dense fog that gives the dawn a beauty found in mystery but obscuring the truth of the backdrop whether for good or ill...although with wine I generally experience the obfuscation as not shielding me from true beauty.
