July 20, 2020 - A superb showing, refined and with complexity, lightly chilled to show of the richly textured fabulousness of this delightful wine.

February 1, 2020 - This really needs a touch of air to get going like all previous bottles. It starts out seeming like it might be oxidized and it is a tad brassy. That falls aside and the wine shows a penetrating green fruit nose with all sorts of other crazy things floating around lifted by a bit of VA maybe. Really fascinating wine.

January 15, 2020 - Well, a challenging wine to write up. Gorgeous deep yellow colour, a little reticent at first then, with good oxygenation, explodes into vinous brilliance. Complex, beguiling aromas that defy my skills of description; lemon, white and yellow stone fruits, some pear, almond, white flowers. Really quite brilliant. Nuclear physicist becomes alchemist ?

April 27, 2019 - Elegant, finely detailed and with laser like delivery on the palate. Very well handled by the grand wizard of the middle Rhône.

February 5, 2019 - Very elegant, and rich wine. Nose of herbs, chamomile, tea leaf and apricot. It has a medicinal scent also. Full bodied with very plush texture. Balanced and restraint with an intense fruitiness.
