February 15, 2021 - PNP into M Chapoutier glass (“Leaf” day): Pale bricking with much fine deposits.

Leafy, white spices. Ripe red berries. Forest floor and emerging mushrooms.

Fully mature and very enjoyable now. Good roundness.

    93-94 points.

July 14, 2020 - the last of my bottles and what a surprise it was! - certainly mature with the fruit almost gone but with the lovely flavours and complexity of an aged CdP

    January 19, 2019 - Very unpleasant.

December 2, 2017 - Great bottle. Medium crimson; nose still fresh and spicy. Totally ready to drink, still with freshness of fruit throughout, and again through the back palate. Fully integrated, crisp; not overblown at all. Vibrant flavors of spice, baked fruits with medium+ persistence on the palate through the finish. Full palate coverage; integrated tannins and acidity meld together; generous alcohol the wine's nod to rusticity. Clean, crisp, finishing on a mineral, stony note. Quite fine!

March 5, 2017 - barely drinkable on opening - all raisins and leather and barely any fruit - however, it was left for four hours after opening and the improvement was remarkable, delicious although still a mature CnP that no doubt has seen better days - the scores ranged from 87 to 91 so 89 as a approximate mid-point - would still recommend that it is drink asap and only with food
