December 1, 2018 - This was gorgeous tonight showing this stinging intensity both on the nose and palate along with flavors of juicy lemon, white chalk and gunsmoke. Finishes with an extra dimension of complexity with notes of white minerals, spicy mint and crushed stones. Awesome stuff and ready to go but plenty in the tank.

November 29, 2018 - 1st of 24, decanted 45 minutes, perfect level, travel up half cork - pale straw, leggy, young; pure, fresh, citrus and apple, slightly nutty, little mineral or steel; medium/full, impressive length, persistence and concentration, rich but dry mid palate with citric bite at end, bit angular and tight starting to show more after 2 hours, classy though, v youthful but with stuffing to develop. F+ (18) for now, but if this opens as I expect, expect serious re-rating.

November 5, 2018 - Golden-yellow in colour, glowing, no undue signs of evolution. On the nose melted butter, crushed stones, white and yellow stone fruit, herbs. On the palate at first quite rich, but then the acidity kicks in. Quite tight towards the finish, very mineral, precise, vibrant. Very long. Wonderful. Drink or keep. 93-95

September 3, 2018 - Labor Day Burgundy Insanity at Paulee du Hersh 9/1-2/18 (Denver, CO): Maybe better than my rating but outclassed in this flight. Petrol overtones.

(Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne) Very pale. Well-integrated oak notes and plenty of depth on the clean nose. Soft, concentrated and with lovely depth. There are no fireworks but tons of restrained interest. Worth the price of entry…
