December 18, 2023 - Limited notes, paired well with rack of lamb later, in sty or dough blend, nicely done.

November 11, 2023 - After reading some of the tasting notes, I am not sure what is going on here. Maybe it was my bottle? I agree with some of the tasting notes, but others seem like we were drinking a completely different wine.
The color was a translucent, ruby color almost like a Pinot vs. a Bordeaux blend. It had a lovely nose, with some purple flowers, sweet, oaky spices, but not alot of noticable fruit or other pleasantries.
The palate was was not as anticipated based upon the aromas. I was first bowled over by the prominent taste of fresh cut tobacco and then a pruney kind of taste came through. No black or red fruit as others describe. Anything else in the wine was in the background. No kitchen spice, vanilla or anything else from the oak on the palate. I had a hard time getting past the first two flavors and found this wine hard to like, particularly for the money, $$$.
I have one bottle remaining and will NOT hold this for another year, never mind another 10. Again maybe it was my bottle or my palate, but it was interesting that a few people mentioned similar profile notes like I found in the wine, but they still enjoyed it much more than me. I will not buy this wine again at any price. Disappointing.

September 10, 2023 - Still on the young side. Tight. Lots of acidity. Bright red and dark fruits with some vegetal notes. Try back in a year.

August 10, 2023 - Wine tasting at the office: tad disappointing, too sour: cherry, leather, tobacco, blackcurrant, spicy, smoke, prune, medium minus body, nice persistent finish.
