  February 6, 2023 - Alittle earth, oak and dark cherry on the nose when opened. Quite round and despite being 14.75% alcohol, it did show as being hot or really that big of wine. Second day it showed very very round….I would drink this with Pork or fillet mignon.

  April 18, 2022 - An elegant, medium-bodied, well-integrated, smooth-drinking Bordeaux-styled red blend that was an excellent complement to a tenderloin beef roast with a porcini and red wine reduction. That said, the nose and palate were more restrained than one would expect from a Stags Leap red.

  December 5, 2020 - Nose of plum, leather, charred wood, nutmeg, cloves and forest floor, well-balanced palate of plum sauce and black cherry with secondary notes of mocha, mushroom and a suggestion of mint, rounded tannins, lengthy, peppery finish. Evolves nicely after opening.

  May 30, 2020 - Post decant, 1 hour, balanced, earthy nose of dark fruits, forest floor, dark chocolate and coffee beans, smooth, tempered palate of ripe black plum and cassis, secondary notes of mocha, pepper and molasses, round tannins, lengthy finish.
