November 26, 2022 - A really gorgeous old(er) Sauternes. It had notes of almond, dried apricot, butter toffee, walnuts, yellow apples, and nutmeg. Still beautifully balanced, with plenty of racy acidity alongside the intense sweetness. Still plenty of concentration and complexity. Fades a little after a couple of hours.

August 5, 2022 - Orange peel, sugar syrup, citrus, glue. Slightly off balanced due to vanishing acidity. A little disappointed. Half bottle size.

May 14, 2022 - Florals and citrus on the nose. Lots of peach and apricot flavors. Medium finish. Drinking exceptionally well. Served chilled on the porch outside after a lovely Saturday night dinner.

March 14, 2022 - Very nice and complex nose of nuts, honey, and brown sugar. Good balance with nice acidity and notes of orange, honey, and citrus on the palate. Long finish. Awesome Sauternes!

(Château Suduiraut) Dark golden amber color; lovely, honeyed apricot nose to begin with, that added coconut and butter as it opened; yummy, rich, honeyed apricot and sweet lemon palate with good acidity; medium-plus finish 93+ pts. (lovely with foie gras mousse w/fig course)
