January 26, 2022 - Pretty standard for a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Well made and thankfully not over-the-top gooseberry or — God forbid! — cat pee. Its high acidity has kept it fresh at nearly 5 years old. Would be interesting to see how it progresses over the years.

While the winery is still mostly owned by co-founder Sue White, Gallo owns about 25% and has exclusive distribution rights in the U.S.

April 11, 2021 - Still the same from my notes taken on 2/6/21.
Did pick up some slight peaches on the nose this time around. Still very enjoyable at this price point.

On the nose I got citrus limezest, minerals and some saline.
On the palate it was really refreshing to drink. I did get some citrus fruits and minerals. Really nicevlingering finish with slight acidity.

August 11, 2020 - Good acidity but not much character. Received as a gift but doesn’t compare to Kim Crawford or Oyster Bay from same region.

April 13, 2020 - Seems to have just the right amount of acidity with flavor of grapefruit and maybe a tiny hint of lemon. You really can’t go wrong with this one.

September 7, 2019 - This wine is clear with no evidence of faults. It's a medium lemon color. The nose is clean with a pronounced intensity of aroma It's floral and herbaceous with strong notes of grapefruit, grass, and lime zest. The palate is very consistent with the nose. This wine is dry, the acidity is high, body is medium, and the finish is long. Conclusion: This is a very good, borderline outstanding, wine.

July 25, 2019 - Although exhibiting some of the characteristics of New Zealand SB, this version actually goes much deeper than what I've come across previously. Nose of grapefruit and cut grass follows on the palate along with flavors of lime, green fruit, sea mist, lemon and wet stone. Mineral notes carried throughout with balanced acidity on a medium-full body ending with an enjoyable, lingering finish. Excellent wine with a good QPR. Will buy again.

May 19, 2019 - Subtle citrus and floral on the nose. Nice straw color. Medium body. Crisp almost effervescent feel on the palate. Citrus, grapefruit and honey on the palate. Nice tart finish that complements the wine.
