April 26, 2021 - Lots of ripe red fruit balanced with plenty of tannins and acidity. Medium finish.

June 6, 2020 - Dark purple color and fully structured. Ripe blue and black fruit. Hints of leather, black licorice and tobacco. Tannins are in balance. Quite good

April 24, 2020 - Really yummy, easy drinker. Super deep inky purple. Some plum, tobacco and cassis. Medium high tannin, and drippy. Medium acid and alcohol, pretty short finish, but enjoyable.

November 30, 2019 - This 2015 deep purple red provided red hue staining tears when swirled in the glass. To the nose this Cahors really gave off big wood notes along with earth & mushrooms. To the mouth this wine provided a medium to full body with a dry finish along with medium tannins. We had this wine as part of a 5 bottle blind taste test where we had the 1988 of this exact same wine to compare. Both did not disappoint but were very noticeably different when tasted.

August 29, 2019 - Again, great interplay of dark cassis, tobacco, and just a slight juicy edge.
