September 26, 2022 - leather, black cherry, black plum, nice value and drinking well now.

June 5, 2022 - This wine is a lesson in why you don't drink European wines young. On 5/13/20 I wrote a review on this wine that was less than complimentary.
Flash-forward to today: 2 years later-with the wine at 6 1/2 years old, it is nothing short of amazing. The Cab and Merlot blend together very well. Blackberry fruit with licorice and cigar box/tobacco notes. They say Margaux is the feminine side of left bank Bordeaux and this wine displays that, while still having plenty of appropriate assertiveness. We let it breathe all afternoon (which we recommend). Cries out for a grilled tenderloin, which we did. Would say drink now through end of 2024.

April 30, 2022 - Quite good at this price point ($22). The wine had a blackberry color at the pour. Delicious blend of Cab and Merlot from the greatest earth for each. Kind of reminded me of the old "Rutherford dust" cabs that CA used to make. I'd buy this all day for a dependable, affordable house red.

November 20, 2021 - Nice bouquet with cherry and lime. The palate is balanced, dark fruit, but overall not a lot going on. Almost no oak here, dry tannins, and the finish is somewhat short. Nothing wrong about the wine, but it will not blow you away. Gave this 7 hours decant, seemed about right. Have another bottle, hoping it will improve with time.
