March 16, 2019 - Solid wine, nice golden color, good bubbles , lots of flavor , some complexity, balanced, a touch of sweetness on the finish, drank easily, drank with lobster tails, might drink again but somewhat pricey.

Winedoctor

    March 2007 (link) 14 points

(NV Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial) Lots of sulphur here, over notes of herbal, crushed rock character. Full, creamy, softly sweet, with a rich, foamy mousse. Firm, herbal character, fading away a touch thereafter. And lots of sulphur again. This is quite good at best.

    August 2000 (link) 15 points

(NV Moët et Chandon Brut Impérial Champagne) Purchased Summer 2000. A pale golden hue. The nose carries pithy citrus fruits, with background nuances of butter and bready yeasts, which become more prominent with aeration. A sharp, acidic mousse, although this also settles with time. Fairly rich, with good leesy complexity. Clean citrus finish.
