October 20, 2020 - Purple in color. 14% ABV. Savory nose of brambly red and black fruits, plums, earth and pepper. Medium body with medium acidity. Charming, Claret style Zinfandel with plenty of lush, sweet fruits. Strawberry, blood orange, black cherry and pepper on the palate. Fantastic Zinfandel with a really unique flavor profile. Given a healthy mix of Petite Sirah I suspect this will age well. Best over the next 3-5 years.

October 13, 2019 - This wine just did not ring any bells for me. It was, as others have suggested, reminiscent of a pinot. I will readily admit that my flavor preference in wines is towards the bigger, deeper, bolder flavors, but I also enjoy lighter wines that offer layers of flavor. This one did not do that for me. Maybe it is purely a stylistic thing that I don't get. Whatever... I will move on to other wine from Bedrock in hopes of more dynamic flavors.

October 9, 2019 - Fairly dark in color (high petite syrah).
PnP - consumed over 1.5 hrs - picked up at the end.
Bramble, spice, black fruit, dried fruit
This is relatively unique in the Bedrock single Vineyard lineup in the plushness and velvety texture (made me think of a RRV pinot). A touch of complexity on the finish, but that's not the hallmark of this wine.
    Went down fast.
Looking forward to the next bottles - this should improve with age.
    Me - 91/92, Wife - 90/91

    November 19, 2018 - Corked...
Was the first bottle that I had tried. Shipped directly from Bedrock. I hope that it was just bad luck.
