October 3, 2022 - Dark, almost black when pouring. Dry aroma, brambles, dried fruit, sawdust, liquorice, light varnish. Plum, blueberry, blackberry. Quite dry on the tongue, grippy tannin but very fine. Wasn’t able to decant which may have removed some of this. Full bodied, softens a bit with some time. Deserves better treatment then it got from me.

October 4, 2019 - Consistent black purple colour. Strong aroma of spice, pepper, cumin, pine, eucalyptus. Plum, blackberry, cranberry. Strong fine tannin, balanced acidity. Great wine, aroma is bursting forward, although the tannin is strong it is not overwhelming or grippy. Very long finish, full body. Requires some breathing time to start but great personality. I was worried I was opening it too early, but I am glad I did. Still clearly further development will occur in future years but it is great to enjoy the journey.

August 10, 2018 - Coonawarra Roadshow (Town Hall, Sydney): Dusty, a little eucalyptus earth, sour blackcurrant sweet spice, juicy with grippy drying tannins, plenty of spice and slightly muted fruit. Hmm
