October 3, 2023 - Fifth bottle from a half case purchased en primeur. Not decanted, opened three hours in advance. Mature aromas but a vibrant structure, cedary and a bit dusty, tobacco, masculine, retains its tannic grip, (white) nutty evolution, good weight (14.5% ABV), good length. Solid rather than spectacular.

September 23, 2023 - Wonderful with strong tannins still. Nice feel. With blackberries light tobacco and red pepper. Very nice finish. Still has a 5 - 10 years left.
